PAD 2023: improved and simplified

In order to better meet the needs of people with disabilities and encourage them to remain in their own homes, the Home Adaptation Program (PAD) has undergone a major overhaul.

A reminder of the main changes:

  • Increase in maximum financial assistance to $50, 000 per person eligible for Option 1
  • Withdrawal of revenue analysis
  • Simplified allocation of costs between eligible persons occupying the same home
  • Processing of “homes to be built” files, now in option 2
  • Non-eligibility of moving expenses

  • Type of wheelchair : Manual or electric
